Wolfgang Schlegel
lives in Brandenburg an der Havel and works in Berlin since 1999. He completed his studies at the Academy of Visual Arts Düsseldorf as Master of Arts at the class of Fritz Schwegler. His artistic career is distinguished by residencies at New Yorks P.S.1 and Londons Delfina Studio Trust, plus grants of Kunstfonds Bonn and Pollock Krasner Foundation USA. His works have been exhibited in Germany, USA, Great Britain, Italy and France at places like Portikus Frankfurt, Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Museum Kurhaus Klewe, Castello Di Rivara Turin, at the galleries of Jablonka Köln, Brose-Eiermann Berlin/Dresden, Unit London, Laura Mars Berlin, and foundations like Leinemann and Gantenbrink in Berlin.
